Our Story

Our mission is to invite and mobilize the Church to pray for the good of their communities and the world...

After they prayed, the place where they were meeting was shaken. And they were all filled with the Holy Spirit and spoke the word of God boldly.  -Acts 4:32 (NIV) 

We envision young and old engaging in prayer walks for their churches, their neighborhoods, their cities and the world. The interactive Prayer Atlas app charts your route block to block for future reference, allows you to add notes for prayer prompts and create or join prayer walk groups. 

In 2017, Imago Dei Community Church in Portland, OR, awarded us a grant to start a prayer walk initiative. We started small, encouraging our members to pray for their neighbors. With the launch of the Prayer Atlas App, On the Grid is now a resource for anyone desiring to walk and pray.
